Pascal Parent, Ottawa, ON—The community is mourning the loss of Pascal Parent, who passed away on September 14, 2024. Pascal was a devoted father to his three children: Arianna, Jaxon, and Nico. His sudden passing has left a profound impact on those who knew and loved him.

Judith Headley, Pascal’s mother-in-law, has organized a fundraiser to honor his memory with a special dedication—a park bench for his children. This bench will serve as a place where Arianna, Jaxon, and Nico can feel close to their father as they grow older, providing them with a physical space to remember him.

The fundraiser, titled "Honouring Pascal Parent: A Memorial Bench for His Children," has raised $375 CAD out of a $5,000 goal, with contributions from three donors. The largest donation so far is from Katrice Bent, who gave $300. Sandie Nault also contributed $50, and an anonymous donor gave $25.

Judith shared that Arianna, Pascal’s eldest daughter, has been deeply affected by her father’s passing. She has collected all his photos and placed them in her room, seeking comfort in his memory. The park bench will offer her, and her siblings, a meaningful way to remember their father, especially since there will not be a gravesite.

Judith expressed her gratitude to everyone who has supported the fundraiser so far. Any additional funds raised will go towards the children’s education savings plan, ensuring a secure future for them, something Pascal would have wished for.
