Nick Sidener, Duluth, MN—Nick Sidener passed away recently in Duluth, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. Diagnosed with leukemia just a week before his passing, Nick passed away peacefully at around 4:30 a.m. at St. Mary Medical Center, surrounded by dedicated medical staff.
Nick was a man of many roles and talents—husband, father, grandfather, truck driver, Lyft driver, brass instrumentalist, Santa, DJ Nick Battle, Chuck-E-Cheese, and tour bus driver, to name just a few. His infectious personality and ability to connect with others made him a beloved figure to all who knew him.
The family is now faced with the difficult task of bringing Nick home to Owensboro, KY, for cremation, as well as covering various expenses like embalming, transportation, and funeral services. His granddaughter, Juliette Haney, has set up a fundraiser to assist with the costs, and so far, $780 has been raised from 11 donations.
Juliette shared a heartfelt post, saying, "I miss him more than anybody could fathom. He had an amazing personality and could talk with just about anyone about anything."
Among the supporters, Olivia Haney donated $10, and Adam Grunther made the largest donation of $200. The fundraising campaign continues to gather donations to help the family navigate this difficult time.
