Nicholas John Holbrook, Saint Cloud, FL— Nicholas John Holbrook passed away on Monday, December 9th, following a tragic car accident. At just 19 years old, Nicholas was a beloved son, brother, and friend, known for his vibrant personality and athletic talents.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, Randal and Kim Holbrook, his older brother, Devin, and his grandmother, Judy Omelusik. A graduate of Saint Cloud High School in 2023, he was a bright student and an avid athlete. Nicholas excelled in soccer and volleyball, proudly representing his high school team, the Saint Cloud High School Bulldogs. He was also passionate about fitness and enjoyed snowboarding in the mountains of Western Canada.
Despite his young age, Nicholas had already begun making strides in his academic and professional life. He was attending Valencia College, working towards earning his AA degree, and employed at Bella Roma Pizzeria.
In the wake of his passing, a fundraiser has been launched by Daniel Frederick to establish the Nicholas Holbrook Memorial Scholarship Fund. The goal is to raise $10,000 to support future Saint Cloud High School athletes pursuing higher education. Donations have already begun pouring in, with the community rallying behind this cause to honor Nicholas’s memory.
Nicholas’s family and friends remember him as a shining light in their lives. His warm, kind heart and infectious spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Though Nicholas is no longer physically with us, his memory will forever live on through the scholarship fund and the countless lives he touched.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Holbrook family during this incredibly difficult time.
