Mr. Allen, Oxford, AL— The Oxford community is preparing for a difficult goodbye as Mr. Allen, a beloved father and neighbor, is expected to pass soon. Mr. Allen recently suffered a severe stroke and, after showing no signs of brain activity, his family has made the difficult decision to remove life support tomorrow. Friends and family will gather to say their goodbyes to this kind-hearted man.
Mr. Allen was known for his willingness to help others, always offering a hand to those in need. His passing leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Brenda, and their two sons, Alex and Dalton. Mrs. Brenda, who has been tirelessly working two jobs to support the family while her husband was in poor health, now faces the tremendous challenge of managing after his passing. With no resources for funeral expenses and the possibility of losing their home, the family is in urgent need of support.
In response, neighbor Amy Burks has set up a fundraiser to assist Mrs. Brenda and her boys. The funds raised will help cover funeral costs, rent, utilities, and necessary home repairs that Mr. Allen had been working on before his health deteriorated. The community is encouraged to come together and provide whatever support they can to help this family through such a devastating time.
Our hearts go out to Mrs. Brenda, Alex, Dalton, and everyone who knew Mr. Allen. We pray for strength and peace for them in this time of immense sorrow.
