Mike Buczek, Ypsilanti—The Ypsilanti community is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Mike Buczek. He passed away peacefully on August 10th, surrounded by his loved ones, after suffering a major hemorrhagic stroke on July 30th. Mike was a devoted father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness and warmth.

Katie Wagner, a close family friend, has organized a fundraiser to assist the Buczek family in covering the medical bills and funeral expenses. The campaign, titled "Support the Buczek Family in Their Time of Loss," has raised $420 of its $5,000 goal so far, with donations from Melissa Poole, Therese Currie, Tiffany Nowitzke, Katie Wagner, and Jillian Kmet. Katie, who has known the Buczek family for over 30 years, expressed her gratitude for the support shown by the community.

Numerous friends and community members have taken to Facebook to express their sorrow and share memories of Mike.
