Michelle Beauchemin, Ojai, CA— The community is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Michelle Beauchemin, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and teacher. Known fondly as "Ms. Michelle" by the students, faculty, and staff at Mira Monte Elementary School, Michelle devoted her life to the education and development of youth with special needs. Her passion for teaching, combined with her compassionate nature, touched the lives of many in Ojai.
Michelle was also a devoted mother to her son, CJ, whose academic accomplishments were a source of great pride. CJ earned a college scholarship and a place on the Dean’s List, a testament to Michelle’s dedication to his education and upbringing.
To honor her memory, a "Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at Lake Casitas picnic area #1 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., hosted by April Kearns. In recognition of her hard work and loving spirit, a fundraiser, "Honoring Mish’s Wishes," has been set up by Heidi Beauchemin. All donations will go toward a trust to support CJ’s continued education.
