Michael J. Rouse Jr., Lopatcong Township, NJ— Michael J. Rouse Jr., 32, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in Hammonton, NJ. Michael was born on June 4, 1992, in Scranton, PA, to Cheryl Guydos Rouse and the late Michael Rouse Sr. He was a cherished son, brother, and friend, remembered for his passion for music, love of nature, and dedication to his family.
Michael worked in the Technical Support department at One World Rental in Cedar Knolls, NJ. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing guitar, snowboarding, fishing, and camping. His warm and generous spirit touched many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother, Cheryl, Michael is survived by his sister, Michelle Rouse, and his beloved nephews, Mayson and Dan-el, as well as his niece, Clove Rehatchek. His family and friends are in mourning, but they take comfort in the memories of his kindness and the joy he brought into their lives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Michael will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Alpha.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up by his sister, Michelle Rouse, to support his final services. The family expressed their gratitude for any donations, though they are not financially dependent on them for Michael’s memorial.
