Melissa Hennessy, Baltimore, MD—Melissa Hennessy passed away unexpectedly on October 21, following a sudden seizure on October 20 that tragically led to swelling and a severe brain bleed. Melissa, known for her warm heart and devotion to those she loved, was only 35 years old. Her sudden passing has left an immense void in the lives of her family, friends, and community.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Patrick Hennessy, with whom she shared a beautiful bond for over 12 years, recently celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary. Melissa’s love for her three cherished dogs was evident to all who knew her; they were her family and brought her endless joy. Her kind spirit extended beyond her loved ones; she was also an advocate for animals, always championing their care and well-being.

In her final act of generosity, Melissa donated her organs, saving multiple lives and leaving behind a legacy of compassion and kindness. Her friend, Jenny Steuernagle, has organized a fundraiser to help Patrick cover medical expenses and navigate this difficult time.

Melissa’s memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, at Evans Life Celebration Home in Forest Hill, MD, where family and friends will gather to honor her life and memory.
