Matt Taylor, Menahga, MN— It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Matt Taylor. On September 29th, 2024, Matt passed away following a tragic accident at the Shepersky family farm near Menahga, MN. Surrounded by his loved ones, Matt’s death has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends.
The accident occurred early that morning, around 4 a.m., when Matt went outside his camper. While attempting to brace himself against the camper, a tragic mishap occurred as the window gave way, causing a severe injury to his arm. Despite the valiant efforts of his friends, Wolf Lake Rescue, and Park Rapids EMS, Matt succumbed to his injuries.
Matt’s family has expressed immense gratitude for the overwhelming support they’ve received during this devastating time. A fundraiser, organized by Jenna Decker, has been set up to help ease the financial burden for Matt’s family. Early donations have already started pouring in, including contributions from MaKayla Herbst, Keegan Decker, and Reese Hanson.
The Taylor family has also extended their thanks to Wolf Lake Rescue, Park Rapids EMS, and The Becker County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response and attempts to save Matt.
