Master Emmanuel Akpoyibo, Vancouver Island—Master Emmanuel Akpoyibo passed away tragically in a fatal road accident on Friday, July 26th, 2024, while at work. Emmanuel was only 23 years old and originally hailed from Nigeria. He moved to Canada in 2023 with dreams of higher education and supporting his family back home.
Emmanuel’s untimely death has left his colleagues and friends in deep sorrow. Known for his big smile and dedication to his work, Emmanuel was a beloved member of the Vancouver Island community. He had a passion for serving people and always did so with enthusiasm.
In honor of Emmanuel, Christian Okorie has organized a fundraising campaign to help send his body back to his family in Nigeria and provide financial support for them. The fundraiser, created today, has a target of $50,000. So far, $100 has been raised thanks to a donation from Amandeep Kaur.
The community is rallying together to support this cause, recognizing the importance of fulfilling Emmanuel’s wishes and helping his family during this difficult time. The support and generosity of those who contribute will be deeply appreciated by everyone who knew and loved Emmanuel.
