Marva Varnell Hewitt, Fort Worth, TX—The community is mourning the loss of Marva Varnell Hewitt, who passed away on October 9th. A dedicated educator and a loving family member, Marva’s passing has deeply affected those who knew her. She was known for her strength and determination, having returned to school to earn her Master’s and Doctorate degrees, achievements she was immensely proud of.

Marva’s legacy is carried on by her mother, Joyce Scott Henslee; her daughters, Allana Hewitt and Brittany Dominguez (Varnell); her son-in-law, Robert Dominguez; her brother, Brad Varnell; and her cousins Mark A. Scott, Donna Scott, and Roger Scott. Each of them, along with the broader community, is working through the grief of her passing.

A fundraiser organized by Robert Dominguez is currently active, seeking support to cover funeral and medical expenses that accumulated during her long and courageous battle.
