He was heavily involved in many aspects of the community, whether on the hockey field, in church, or assisting neighbors in need. His kindness and willingness to help others will be sorely missed. Martyn was set to represent Australia in masters hockey later this year, a testament to his love for the sport and his dedication to excellence.
In loving memory of Martyn Parr, a fundraiser has been organized by Helen Rankin Jarvie on behalf of his wife, Mollie Parr. The Ballina Hockey Club has also set up this campaign to help support Martyn’s family in this difficult time. Donations will go towards easing the financial burden on his wife and children as they navigate life without him.
