Madeline was known for her warm heart and dedication to her family, having worked for over a decade as a dietary aide at the Glenville Center Health Care Facility.
Born on August 8, 1956, in Lockney, WV, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Geneva Parsons. Madeline’s life was marked by her love for her family and her generous spirit. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed connecting with her sisters and granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Joseph Duskey, and eight siblings. Madeline is survived by her son, Joey Duskey, and his wife, Lisa, her fiancée Steve Barr, four siblings, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled to be held at Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., in Glenville, WV, on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Jim Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Collins Community Cemetery in Stumptown. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the mortuary.
