Lorene “Lorri” “LuLu” Snyder, age 59, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at WVU–Wheeling Hospital. Born on July 9, 1965, in Wheeling, WV, she was the daughter of the late Carolyn Nanney Edwards.
Lorri was known for her love of simple joys—opening packages, solving crossword puzzles, writing poetry, and her passion for the Grateful Dead and the Indigo Girls. She was also an enthusiastic fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and WWE wrestling. Her passing comes as a deep loss to her community, family, and many friends.
Her lifelong friends, Kelly Gear and her daughters, Heather and Lindsay, were especially close to Lorri. Lindsay Jo shared her emotions on Facebook, saying, “We love you LULU. FOREVER. SO HEARTBROKEN to see you leave us so soon. You’re safe and at peace now. That’s something I’m thankful for. I know these last few months were hard. Sending my condolences to all family and friends. RIP LULU.”
