Lola French, Blytheville, AR—The Blytheville community is deeply saddened by the passing of Lola French, who left us unexpectedly at the age of 58 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at her home. Born on November 24, 1965, in Memphis, TN, to WT Fair and Louise Looney Fair, Lola was a devoted wife and mother, and a cherished member of the Soul’s Harbor Pentecostal Holiness Church in Manila, AR.
Her passing has left a profound void in the lives of her family and friends. Lola was predeceased by her father, WT Fair. She is survived by her mother, Louise Fair of Manila, AR, her husband, Rickie French of Blytheville, AR, her four sons—Eric Alexander of Independence, MS, Ricky French Jr., and Justin French, both of Blytheville, AR, and Jonathan French of Manila, AR—and her daughter, Erica Stone of Water Valley, MS. She also leaves behind her two brothers, David Fair of Manila, AR, and Dennis Fair of Senatobia, MS, two sisters, Joyce Green of Blytheville, AR, and Theresa Mathews of Senatobia, MS, as well as eleven beloved grandchildren.
In the wake of her passing, the community has rallied together, sharing their condolences and memories of Lola on social media. Julie Eddings from Souls Harbor Trinity Pentecostal expressed deep sorrow, and many others have joined in sharing their support and prayers.
A fundraiser has been organized by Ally Sellars to help cover the funeral expenses, which have been estimated at $12,000. Services for Lola French will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, AR. Visitation will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville, AR, with Rev. Mark Luther officiating.
