Leticia Diaz, Lancaster, CA—It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Leticia Diaz, a devoted mother who lost her battle with cancer on October 8th, 2024. Her daughter, Flor Martinez, has organized a fundraiser to help with funeral expenses and to honor Leticia’s memory.

Leticia Diaz endured a long and painful journey, filled with countless hospital visits, medical tests, and treatments in a brave fight to overcome the cancer that had spread throughout her body. Despite her strength and determination, her health continued to decline, and her body succumbed to the infection and complications. Sepsis had taken hold, causing severe discomfort in her final days.

In her seven-month fight, Leticia Diaz remained hopeful and determined to live her life differently, to overcome this devastating illness. But in the end, she passed away peacefully at home, as her family knew she wouldn’t want her final moments in a hospital setting.

Her daughter, Flor Martinez, now seeks to give her mother a proper and heartfelt goodbye. A fundraiser titled "A Beautiful Goodbye for a Beloved Mother" has been created in Leticia’s honor. The family hopes to raise support to cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services, offering the community an opportunity to help them during this difficult time.
