Lea Anne Tolbert, Hanover, PA— Lea Anne Tolbert passed away on December 9th, leaving her family and community in deep sorrow. She was 52 years old at the time of her passing.
Lea Anne had been battling Multiple Sclerosis for some time, and her health was further complicated by a recent diagnosis of lymphoma, which spread aggressively to her lymph nodes. Despite her courage and the family’s hopes for more time, her condition deteriorated rapidly, and she was placed on hospice care before passing away peacefully.
Her daughter, Jada Boardwine, has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses as the family faces financial challenges, having not been prepared for such a sudden loss. As of today, the fundraiser has raised $230 from five kind-hearted donations, including contributions from Alexander Tolbert, Shay Moore, Andrea Reed, Jonathan Cook, and Jeffrey Romanoski.
The community has expressed its condolences and support on social media. Michael Tolbert, Lea Anne’s husband, thanked everyone for their prayers and continued support during this difficult time. Trisha Simms Warren sent her heartfelt sympathies, saying, "I’m so sorry, Michael! Prayers for you and your girls."
Lea Anne will be remembered as a caring and compassionate mother, as well as a devoted member of Old Carroll Primitive Baptist Church. Her passing has left a void, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Tolbert family during this heartbreaking time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
