Larry Corradini, Clinton, WA— Larry Corradini passed away recently, leaving the community in deep sorrow. He was widely known for his big heart and dedication to those around him. Larry worked as a janitor for the South Whidbey School district for a brief period, and he was a hometown hero alongside his good friend Jim Engstrom back in 2013.
Larry dedicated much of his time to volunteering at various Good Cheers organizations, but his most cherished role was being a father. Valerie Singletary, Larry’s stepdaughter, shared touching memories of Larry’s unconditional acceptance and love. “I was 14 years old when my mom and Larry got married. He accepted my sister and me, never treating us differently even after having his own children,” Valerie shared.
Valerie has organized a fundraiser to honor Larry’s memory and cover his funeral expenses, including cremation and placing his ashes with his parents at Washelli in Seattle. The goal is to raise $5,500, and donations can be made through GoFundMe.
The community has shown their support and sympathy through heartfelt messages on Facebook. Valerie Singletary’s post urges friends and family to take a moment to pray, share, and, if possible, donate.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Larry Corradini’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
