Kyong Cha Carcano, Killeen, TX — It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of Kyong Cha Carcano, affectionately known as KC, on December 4, 2024. KC, a cherished member of the Killeen community, was taken from us suddenly at the age of 63. A dedicated barber for over 30 years, she was beloved by many and actively involved in numerous community efforts.
KC was not only known for her skilled hands behind the barber chair but also for her compassionate heart. She volunteered at nursing homes, participated in charity hair-cutting events, and was a valued member of the local Korean dance club, performing at various community gatherings. Her service extended to her church, where she contributed to the spiritual growth and fellowship of her community.
The sudden loss of KC has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Anacleto and Melanie Romo, as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom are grappling with the emotional weight of her untimely passing.
A GoFundMe campaign has been established by Mel Testamark to assist with funeral expenses. As of now, $25 has been raised, with a goal to cover the service and memorial arrangements. The family has expressed their immense gratitude for any support during this difficult time.
