Kyler Bishop Wright, Sarasota, FL— The community is in mourning following the sudden passing of Kyler Bishop Wright, who tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on November 10, 2024. Kyler, a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, was just beginning to embrace the next chapter of his life when his journey was cut short. He was 18 years old.
Kyler was deeply cherished by his mother, Brittany Wright, and younger brother, Luke Wright, who had been close companions throughout their lives. He was also adored by his grandparents, Danielle and Sandy Wright, as well as his extended family, including his aunt Heather Wright Ford, uncle Brian Ford, and cousin Isabella Grace Ford, among others.
A former student at Ridgeview High School in Sarasota, FL, and Worthington Christian in Worthington, OH, Kyler was known for his adventurous spirit. He loved snowboarding, spending time outdoors, target shooting, and cherishing moments with family and friends. Kyler was especially close to his younger brother Luke, who had been his constant companion until their relationship shifted as they grew older.
Kyler’s family remembers him as a kind-hearted young man who hid a deep affection beneath his carefree exterior. His bond with his cousin Isabella was a highlight of his life, filled with laughter and joyful antics. Kyler’s love for life was nurtured by his mother, Brittany, who taught him to live each day to its fullest.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being requested for two causes close to Kyler’s heart— My Sister’s Place, a domestic violence shelter in Marshall, NC, and a fund to support his brother Luke’s education. Donations are being coordinated by his aunt, Heather.
A celebration of Kyler’s life will be held at a later date. His family and friends are finding comfort in their shared memories and the love Kyler brought into their lives.
