Kristina Sullivan, Milwaukee, WI— Kristina Sullivan passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2024, leaving her family and community in deep sorrow. Kristina was a cherished mother, grandmother, and a lifelong servant to her community.

A dedicated 20-year Air Force Veteran, Kristina was part of the first deployments to the Middle East following the events of 9/11. She also served with distinction as a detective and SWAT team member for the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department. Her commitment to both her country and community was evident in every aspect of her life.

Her daughter, Colleen Sullivan, has organized a fundraiser in honor of Kristina’s legacy of service. The funds will support organizations that help military families, continuing Kristina’s passion for helping others.

Kristina’s legacy extends beyond her professional achievements. A former athlete at Marquette University, Kristina excelled in track and field, competing at Nationals in the 2-mile and 800-meter events. She was also an avid adventurer, enjoying paddle boarding, kayaking, running, and hiking throughout her life. Her love for travel and exploring new horizons was contagious, as was her devotion to her family.

Kristina’s passing has left a profound emptiness, but her love for her children, Nathan and Colleen, as well as her four grandchildren, remains an enduring source of strength. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sullivan, and her mother, Janis Keyser.
