Kong Bo, of Lowell, MA, passed away unexpectedly on October 21st, 2024. His peaceful passing in his sleep has left his family and loved ones in deep sorrow. He is survived by his wife, Kha Sok, and their five children: Sophy, Sopheab, Tbo, Connie, and Jenny, along with many grandchildren who cherished him deeply.
In the wake of this sudden tragedy, the family is facing financial challenges as they prepare for his funeral services. Jenny Bo, one of Kong’s children, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the expenses, expressing gratitude for any support during these difficult times. Donations are being accepted through GoFundMe as well as Venmo and Cashapp.
Several community members have already shown their support through kind donations. Contributions include $150 from Visophanha PHEN, $100 from Amara Koam, $50 from Pichinda Phuon, $50 from Sharrie Hailson, and another $50 from an anonymous donor. Their generosity is helping the family as they arrange to say their final goodbyes.
Funeral services for Kong Bo will be held at Dolan Funeral Home in Chelmsford, MA, on Sunday, October 26th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The family will then gather at the Glory Buddhist Temple in Lowell, MA, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. A procession to Merrimack Cremation Service in Merrimack, NH, will follow on Monday, October 27th, starting at 8:30 AM.
