Kevin McNeil, Babylon, NY—Kevin McNeil passed away recently, leaving the community in mourning. A proud veteran and dedicated volunteer, Kevin was known for his service at the Northport V.A., Little Shelter Animal Rescue, and Island Harvest Food Bank, among others.
John Frohlich, Kevin’s cousin, has taken on the responsibility of organizing Kevin’s funeral and ensuring he receives the military honors he deserves. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY, on September 19, 2024, at 10:45 am. John shared that aside from him and his brother Bill, there are no other family members able to handle Kevin’s affairs.
In honor of Kevin’s contributions and to cover the funeral expenses, a fundraiser has been set up with a goal of $4,500. Despite the need, no donations have been received yet. John hopes that the community will come together to help give Kevin a dignified farewell. Any amount is appreciated to cover the costs of the funeral preparations and the military honors ceremony.
Kevin’s dedication and service to the community will be remembered and cherished by those who knew him. His legacy of kindness and volunteerism will continue to inspire.
We are deeply saddened by Kevin McNeil’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
