Kerry Brass, Chilliwack, BC — The community is mourning the loss of Kerry Brass, who passed away recently. She had been battling a brain tumour for seven years. Kerry was a beloved family member, known for her resilience and strength in the face of her illness.
Her husband, Glenn Brass, and their children are deeply affected by her passing. Kerry had been undergoing regular MRIs every six months, and until June of this year, the results had been positive. Unfortunately, her latest MRI revealed new spots, and despite immediate treatment, the tumour continued to grow, severely impacting her mobility and speech.
A fundraiser organized by Sarah and Kyle on behalf of Glenn Brass has been launched to help cover medical expenses, funeral home costs, and other unforeseen expenses. So far, $1,140 CAD has been raised out of the $20,000 goal, with contributions from generous donors like Jodi Woodley, who made the top donation of $150, and Rhonda Branch, who made the first donation of $100.
The community has shown immense support through their donations and messages. Tyla Penner recently donated $50, contributing to the collective effort to support the Brass family during this difficult time.
Kerry’s memory will live on through the love and strength she demonstrated. Her family and friends will cherish the moments they had with her, finding comfort in the legacy she left behind.
