Kent Myers, Tacoma, WA— Kent Myers passed away suddenly on December 15, 2024, leaving his family and community in deep sorrow. Surrounded by his children, wife, and one of his older brothers, Kent was ushered into Heaven after a long battle with health issues.
Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at a young age, Kent faced numerous health challenges throughout his life, including chronic kidney disease, which required lifelong dialysis, and heart failure, which led to open-heart surgery and a five-way bypass. Despite these struggles, Kent lived a life full of passion and love, working for Boeing, enjoying fishing trips, maintaining his beloved white truck, and cherishing adventures with his wife. He was also deeply involved with his grandchildren, making lasting memories with them.
Kent leaves behind his devoted wife, four grown children, and five grandchildren. His sudden passing has left his family with heavy hearts and financial burdens. To assist his wife Sue, a fundraiser has been established to help with memorial service costs and to provide some support as she navigates this challenging time.
The community’s outpouring of love and support has been evident, and donations are already being made to help the family during this difficult period.
