Kelvin Dewight "KD" Church, Atlanta, GA— The community is mourning the tragic passing of Kelvin Dewight "KD" Church, a young man known for his respectfulness, nurturing nature, and a smile that could light up any room. KD’s life was cut short when he tragically passed away on November 5, 2024, after succumbing to injuries he sustained on October 30, 2024. He had been a victim of a senseless incident while heading home, which ultimately led to him being hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
KD, who had attended military school in Hinesville, GA, had dreams of becoming a truck driver. Those who knew him remember him as someone with a bright future ahead, but unfortunately, his promising life was taken too soon.
His mother, Kaneisha Quinsha Edwards, has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser to help with funeral expenses and legal fees, as well as to support her family during this difficult time. The funds will also be used to assist with living expenses as Kaneisha and her children navigate this heartbreaking loss.
