Kay Burns, Mountain View, MO— Kay Burns passed away recently, leaving a deep sense of loss within the community. She had been battling health issues for some time and was receiving hospice care before her peaceful passing on the morning of November 15, 2024. Kay was loved and admired by many for her strength and spirit, and her departure has left a void that will be hard to fill.

Kay’s loved ones, particularly her partner Linda Krist, are heartbroken by her passing. As they navigate this incredibly difficult time, the family has turned to the community for support. Christine Hale, a close friend, has organized a fundraiser to assist with final expenses and bills. While the family continues to grieve, they are also looking ahead, knowing that Linda will have to adjust to life without Kay and with a single income.

As the holidays approach, the family has expressed their gratitude for any help, understanding that times are tough for many. So far, the fundraiser has raised $75 through three donations, with more expected as the community rallies around them.
