Karim Alexander Zubira, Cyprus—On the night of August 2, 2024, we lost a loving husband, son, brother, and dear friend, Karim Alexander Zubira, at the young age of 35. After struggling with health difficulties, Karim passed away very suddenly, though fortunately in the comfort of his own home.
Karim’s love, kindness, and great heart will forever live on inside of us. The memories we have of him we hold dearly. He was a light in the lives of many, always ready to lend a helping hand or make us laugh with a silly joke. Karim lived a happy life in Cyprus with his wife, Maushedee. Unfortunately, all his remaining family resides abroad in Aruba, which leaves the heavy burden of funeral costs and responsibilities on Maushedee. This is especially challenging as she was the sole income provider for their household and has been struggling to make ends meet.
In light of this, a fundraiser has been initiated by Temuera Uspessij to support Maushedee in this difficult time. The fundraiser, titled "Support Karim," aims to raise €5,000 to cover the funeral expenses and provide some financial relief to Maushedee. As of now, €50 has been raised from a single generous donor, Geran Spoelstra.
The outpouring of support and kind messages from the community reflects the impact Karim had on everyone around him. Temuera Uspessij, a friend of both Karim and Maushedee, expressed heartfelt gratitude for any assistance provided, emphasizing how much it would mean to Maushedee and the entire family during this tragic time.
