Juri Jungblut, Mutterschied—Family and Community Mourn Sudden Loss

Juri Jungblut, a beloved resident of Mutterschied, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2024, leaving his family, friends, and community in deep sorrow. Juri, at the age of 46, was a devoted husband, father, and a valued member of the community, known for his vibrant energy, love for life, and dedication to his family.

The tragic incident occurred when Juri suddenly collapsed at home. Despite his efforts to call for help, and his wife Lidia’s immediate response to perform CPR and contact emergency services, Juri could not be saved. His passing has left his family, particularly his wife Lidia and their two children, David and Ronan, in a challenging position. Ronan, the younger of the two children, requires lifelong care due to a disability, adding to the weight of the responsibilities now resting solely on Lidia’s shoulders.

Juri’s sudden departure has not only left a void in his family’s life but has also deeply impacted the community. Known for his reliability and the strong partnership he shared with Lidia over their 26 years of marriage, Juri was a figure of strength and love, admired by many. The home he built for his family, now a place filled with memories, also represents a significant responsibility that Lidia must now manage alone, alongside the ongoing care for their children.

In response to this heartbreaking event, a fundraiser has been organized by Andreas Lackmann and Jason Grün to support the family during this difficult time. The campaign aims to alleviate the financial burden on Lidia, helping her manage the household expenses, provide care for Ronan, and give the family space to grieve and adapt to their new reality. So far, €1,125 of the €10,000 goal has been raised through 25 donations, with contributions ranging from small anonymous donations to more significant amounts, such as a €200 donation from Jegor Grün.

The outpouring of support on social media has been overwhelming. Jessica Rupp shared her heartfelt message, expressing the deep pain felt by all who knew Juri: "Es ist mit tiefem Schmerz verbunden, dass wir vom plötzlichen und unerwarteten Tod unseres lieben Freundes, Onkels und Mitmenschen Juri Jungblut berichten müssen."
