Joseph Shane Johnston, Riverside, NJ—The Riverside community is mourning the sudden and unexpected loss of Joseph Shane Johnston, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the young age of 22. Known affectionately as Joey, he was cherished for his kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit. Joey’s curiosity and passion for understanding how things worked endeared him to many, and his warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
His passing has left his family and friends devastated, struggling to cope with both the emotional pain of their loss and the financial burden of his funeral expenses. To honor Joey’s memory and ensure he is laid to rest with dignity, a fundraiser has been organized by Danielle Hoff.
