Joseph Ray Wycoff, Fairview, Texas — The community is mourning the loss of Joseph Ray Wycoff, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 46. Joseph, known affectionately as Joe, was a dedicated husband, father, and friend, remembered for his deep faith and commitment to his family and community.
Joseph’s beloved wife, Jennifer Wycoff, shared her heartfelt message on Facebook: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15. She expressed both sorrow and joy, knowing that Joe is now whole and worshipping his Savior.
Born on April 8, 1978, in Ames, Iowa, Joseph was raised in Nevada and pursued his education at the University of Iowa, earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance. His career took him to Texas, where he married Jennifer in McKinney on October 23, 2004. Together, they had five children: Caleb, Seth, Kynslee, Kason, and Kyron, who were the center of his world.
Joseph’s life was marked by his deep Christian faith, which he shared passionately with those around him. His devotion to God and his church community was a cornerstone of his life, inspiring many to deepen their own faith.
A fundraiser organized by Lindsay Webb has been launched to support Joe’s family during this difficult time. The goal is to raise $10,000 to cover funeral, medical, and other expenses. As of now, contributions are still needed to reach the goal.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Providence Church in Frisco, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
