Jose immigrated to the United States at 16, striving to build a better life for his family. He married Nora Patricia Vega Garcia on December 26th, 1986, in Los Angeles. He pursued further education while working late nights, ultimately becoming an Automation Technician at Bolthouse Farms. Over his 20-year career, he became known for his expertise in solving complex computer-related issues.
Jose had a passion for working on cars and computers, enjoyed family trips to national parks, and was a devoted Star Trek fan. Despite his gratitude for life, he had hoped to spend many more years watching his four grandchildren—Belen, Kyro, Zuko, and Ezra—grow up.
He is survived by his wife, Nora; his children, Melissa Bocanegra, Michelle Lopez, Marshall Garcia, and Michael Garcia; his grandchildren; his mother, Nora Irma Torres; and his siblings, Gloria Lina, Claudia Marisol, Yadira Victoria, Jesus Alberto, and Luis Dolores Garcia Torres.
