Jose Chito Delgadillo, Houston, TX— With heavy hearts, the community mourns the passing of Jose "Chito" Delgadillo, who left us on Sunday, August 4, 2024, after a battle with a severe illness he could not overcome. Known fondly as Chito, he was cherished by his family and friends both in the United States and his hometown of Agua Nueva, Durango.

Chito was born and raised in Agua Nueva and had the opportunity to live and work in the United States for many years. Unfortunately, while working hard in Houston, TX, he fell ill and eventually succumbed to his illness. His passing has left his family, who reside both in the United States and Agua Nueva, heartbroken and grieving.

In honor of Chito, his cousin, Jose Rodel Delgadillo, has organized a fundraiser to cover the expenses related to his funeral and burial. The goal is to raise $10,000 to transport Chito to his final resting place in Agua Nueva, where he will be laid to rest with his family. The fundraiser, which is organized on GoFundMe, has just been launched, and donations are being sought to reach the target amount.

The community’s support during this difficult time is deeply appreciated. The Delgadillo family is profoundly grateful for any contributions to help them honor Chito’s memory and fulfill his final wishes.
