Johnny Hang, Fresno, CA Community Mourns Loss of Beloved Family Member

Johnny Hang, Fresno, CA— The community is mourning the passing of Johnny Hang, a talented programmer and cherished family member, who passed away at the age of 32. Johnny was well-known for his kindness, dedication to his family, and incredible skill in technology, particularly in programming. His passing has deeply affected those close to him.

A fundraiser has been organized by Johnny’s aunt, Mai Lor Xiong, to support his memorial service. Johnny’s parents, who came to America as refugees and worked hard to support their family, are now facing the financial burden of giving their son a proper farewell. Johnny, the eldest of seven children, was a pillar of strength for his family, often acting as a translator and advocate for his parents.

Johnny’s friend Jerry Yang shared a touching message on Facebook, reminiscing about their long friendship. "Johnny Hang is a very close friend of mine that recently passed away at the age of 32. We shared many memories, including our time at the Center for Advanced Research and Technology, where we both developed our interest in technology. I will miss this guy deeply, and I’m sure many more will miss him just as much."

Support for Johnny’s family has already begun to pour in through donations. Richard Butler has donated $500, Jerry Yang contributed $1,000, and Jesse Hang has also given $100 to help cover the expenses of Johnny’s memorial service.

The community continues to come together to honor Johnny’s memory and provide solace to his grieving family.
