Jim was a source of light and joy to many, including the Scalici family, who described him as a close friend and part of their extended family. The loss is particularly painful with Thanksgiving and Christmas approaching, and Jim’s birthday just two weeks away. His passing comes after his family has already endured significant hardships, including his mother’s battle with cancer and his father’s near-death experience from a severe bacterial infection during a COVID hospital stay.
