Jennifer Lynn Valencia, Oakdale, CA—Jennifer Lynn Valencia has passed away after a long and difficult battle with multiple health issues. She was a devoted mother of two children, ages 20 and 22, who have spent their lives witnessing their mother’s fight against Crohn’s disease. Despite her enduring spirit and determination to live for her children, Jennifer’s body eventually could no longer endure the toll of her illnesses.
Jennifer, at 45, had been fighting Crohn’s disease for 25 years. Over time, the disease led to further complications, including kidney disease, which required regular hemodialysis treatments. In addition, she developed heart issues that necessitated heart valve replacement surgeries. Last year, due to the effects of long-term steroid use, Jennifer’s sternum disintegrated, requiring emergency surgery to replace it with a titanium plate.
Despite her resilience and the moments when her health allowed her to enjoy life with her children, Jennifer’s health continued to decline. In recent times, she had been suffering from severe pain and sores, which her body could no longer withstand.
A fundraiser has been set up by Katrina Marowski to help cover the funeral expenses, which are estimated at $8,065, along with cemetery costs. As of now, kind donations from friends and family, including contributions from Victoria Richardson, Martha Longoria, Toni & Alex Jimenez, Edward Hatch, and Heidi Herschbach, have begun to provide support.
The loss of Jennifer has left a void in the hearts of her loved ones and the community who admired her strength and determination.
