Middletown, RI—The Brazilian community in Middletown and beyond is mourning the unexpected passing of Janderson Da Silva Vieira, a young man remembered for his joyful spirit and ability to brighten the lives of everyone around him. Known affectionately as "Dan," Janderson’s sudden departure has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of his family and friends.

Junior Vieira, Janderson’s brother, has set up a fundraiser in hopes of gathering enough support to cover the funeral costs and to return Janderson’s body to his family in Brazil. Junior, currently living in the United States, shared that their parents are anxiously waiting in Brazil for a final farewell.
