James was at home the day he passed away, and despite efforts to revive him, he could not be saved. The cause of his passing remains unclear, as the coroner refused to perform an autopsy, despite the insistence of his doctor. His family hopes to learn more from the pathology report from the organs James generously donated.

James lived his entire life in Newton Falls, where he left a lasting impact on those who knew him. His daughter, Sabrina Morrison, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the costs of his memorial service and to assist her mother in managing the estate after this sudden loss. With both of her parents disabled and unable to work, the family faces significant financial challenges, including the possibility of selling the family home.

As of now, $5 has been raised out of a $5,000 target, with the first donation coming from Caitlyn Knowlton. The Morrison family is asking for the community’s support during this difficult time to help honor James’s memory and assist with the financial burden left in the wake of his passing.
