Howard was a devoted husband to Nancy, father to eight children, and grandfather to twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Howard’s life was one of service, as he proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt under the Ninth Naval District. He will be honored with a private funeral service with military honors in the spring at the VA National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
