Heather Ann Szeles, Hightstown, NJ—It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Heather Ann Szeles. Known for her warm personality and ability to uplift everyone around her, Heather touched the hearts of many in the community. She passed away on September 15th, 2024, at Princeton Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Heather had been battling Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) for several years, yet she never allowed her illness to overshadow her love for life and her dedication to her family. Despite the painful symptoms she endured, Heather always radiated positivity and strength. Early Saturday morning, September 14th, Heather was admitted to the hospital after her condition worsened. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of her doctors, Heather passed away hours later.
In memory of Heather and to support the Szeles family during this difficult time, a fundraiser has been organized by Michael Frunzi. The community has come together to show their love and support, with $765 raised out of a $25,000 goal through nine heartfelt donations so far. Contributions, including those from Maria Saraiva and Alyssa Grillo, continue to help the family manage the expenses they now face.
The Szeles family remains in the thoughts and prayers of many, as they begin to cope with this painful loss. Heather’s vibrant presence will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
