Griffin Barker, a 20-year-old resident of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away unexpectedly this past Wednesday while at work in VA, leaving his family, friends, and community in deep sorrow. Griffin was remembered by those who knew him as a kind and sweet individual, someone who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Barbara Slayton, a friend and former coworker, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, reminiscing about the good old days they spent together at McDonald’s. She expressed her deep sorrow and longing, stating, "I miss you Griffin Barker. I wish we could go back in time years ago to McDonald’s. Those were the good old days. May you rest in peace, my friend and coworker. You are loved and missed, a very sweet guy. You’re in my prayers."

In an effort to support Griffin’s family, particularly his mother Tori Litchfield (Miller), during this difficult time, a fundraiser has been organized by Elizabeth London to help cover the funeral expenses. The goal is to raise $9,000, and so far, $135 has been collected from four generous donors.
