Gloria Pha, Blue Springs, MO— Gloria Pha passed away on November 27, 2024, leaving behind a family in mourning. She was a devoted caregiver throughout her life, even running her own home-care business. Gloria’s dedication to caring for others was matched only by the love she had for her family.
In her final years, Gloria’s health quickly declined, leading her granddaughter, Kristina Pha, to take on the responsibility of caring for her. Despite their efforts, her passing came suddenly after a month-long decline, leaving Kristina and the rest of the family heartbroken. Before her passing, the family was able to have a final moment with Gloria, as her daughter was flown in to see her one last time.
Kristina has organized a fundraiser to cover the costs of cremation and a small private service, as well as to take Gloria’s remains back to the Philippines, her final resting place. The fundraiser has so far raised $325 of the $5,000 goal, with donations from several generous individuals.
The family has expressed deep gratitude for the support from friends and community members during this challenging time. Their thoughts are also with those who could not be there in person, especially Gloria’s other children and family members who are in the Philippines and stayed connected through video calls in her final days.
