After battling several severe health issues, including diabetic neuropathy, congestive heart failure, and kidney disease, Gina succumbed to her ailments despite her enduring strength.
Her kidneys ceased functioning early on the morning of her passing, leading to cardiac arrest around 4:00 a.m. After being resuscitated, Gina was rushed to the ER, where she was placed on life support. Tragically, her heart could not hold out, and she passed away later that night at 11:00 p.m., surrounded by those who loved her most.
Gina had undergone extensive medical treatment throughout the year, including a quadruple bypass surgery, a partial foot amputation, and dialysis. Despite the toll on her body, she was known for her kindness and selflessness, always placing the needs of her family above her own.
Her husband, Keith Bracken, has created a fundraiser to assist with the family’s financial burden, including funeral costs and household expenses. Donations from the community have started to pour in, with contributions from friends such as Brittany Grice, Eion Nelson, Steven Quinlivan, and Paul Cohen.
