Unfortunately, he lost his job during the pandemic and never had the opportunity to return. Pamela, who had consistently sent him birthday cards every year, was heartbroken to learn that George passed away days before his 67th birthday. His birthday card, found unopened in his mailbox, became the final link to his family after months of silence.

Pamela was only contacted on October 17, 2024, after authorities found George’s mail untouched since April.
