Garfield Behm, Pembroke, ON— Garfield Behm passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 22, 2024, leaving his family and friends in deep sorrow. His sudden passing followed what was initially thought to be a routine case of pneumonia, but a sudden change in his condition led to his tragic death from a massive heart attack.
Garfield’s daughter, Michelle Gervais, has set up a fundraiser to assist with funeral expenses and to support her mother, Mary-Lou, during this difficult time. The loss of Garfield, a devoted father, has placed significant financial strain on the family, as they cope with both the emotional and practical challenges of this unexpected tragedy.
The community has shown incredible support through donations, with contributions from friends and family. A wake is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27th, at Murphy’s Funeral Home, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 28th, at Mount Zion Church at 11 AM.
