Francisco Chele, born in Managua, Nicaragua, passed away recently, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him. Known as a man with a big heart, Francisco was a devoted father of four—Rolando, Emma, Maria, and Monica—and the eldest sibling among five. He was widely respected as an honest mechanic who never hesitated to lend a hand, building friendships that spanned decades.
Francisco joined the military at 16, where he met the love of his life. He cherished his family deeply and made friends easily, with a warm personality that lit up any room. Sadly, his health battles later in life included COPD and pulmonary fibrosis, worsened by a blocked artery and prostate cancer diagnosis. Despite being placed on a waiting list for a lung transplant, his condition prevented him from receiving the surgery. Even in the face of adversity, Francisco remained optimistic, radiating faith and courage.
His family, led by his daughter Jocelyn Palma, has organized a fundraiser to help fulfill Francisco’s wish to be buried alongside his mother. Community support has been generous, with donations pouring in from friends like Brenda Mejia, Luis Mora, and others, honoring Francisco’s life and legacy.
Our deepest condolences go out to Francisco’s family and loved ones. May he rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in his enduring love and memories.
