Eric Bradley Mareiro, 34, of Fall River, MA—Eric Bradley Mareiro passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 17, 2024, leaving his family, friends, and community in deep sorrow. Eric was known for his warm heart, loud and contagious laugh, and his love for life, which he shared with everyone around him.
Born in New Bedford, Eric spent the last several years residing in Fall River. He was a dedicated iron worker at Southcoast Steel and a proud union member of Local 7 in Boston. Outside of work, Eric was passionate about body building, strongman competitions, and enjoyed riding motorcycles and motocross bikes. His love for trucks and a cold Bud Light were well known among those close to him.
Eric’s passing has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew him. He is survived by his fiancée, Cassandra Seney, his two children, Bradley Mareiro and Thomas “TJ” Sousa, his sister, Jessica Lynne Mareiro and her husband Tony Gupta, his brother, Thomas Brogan, and his step-father, William Brogan. Many nieces, nephews, and friends also mourn his loss.
In memory of Eric, a fundraiser has been organized by Matt Wright to support his family during this difficult time. The goal is to raise $10,000, and so far, $1,400 has been donated by seven kind-hearted individuals. The largest contribution of $1,000 came from Dave & Amanda Lapointe, demonstrating the profound impact Eric had on those around him.
The community eagerly awaits the announcement of a Celebration of Life event in honor of Eric, where they can come together to remember and celebrate the joy he brought into their lives.
