Elsie was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer earlier this year, and despite numerous treatments at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, her body could not continue the fight. She remained a beacon of strength and love to her family throughout her illness, always putting others’ needs before her own.
Before her health declined, Elsie was well known as a talented artist, particularly skilled in rug weaving and pottery painting. She worked for Cedar Mesa Pottery, where her beautiful painted pottery pieces became a hallmark of the community.
