Dolores King, Matteson, IL—Community Gathers to Honor Beloved Aunt

Dolores King, Matteson, IL—Dolores King passed away recently at the age of 94, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and dedication to her work. Dolores was a soft-spoken woman with a beautiful soul, who lived a long and meaningful life. She was the last surviving member of her family, having been the eldest at the time of her passing.

Dolores was the mother of the late Bruce, the late Jacqueline, Susan, Norma, the late Leanne, and Michael. She had a strong work ethic and dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working well into her later years as an echocardiogram technician. Her contributions to healthcare in various diagnostic roles are remembered fondly by her community.

Despite her long life, Dolores experienced financial difficulties in her later years and unfortunately did not have life insurance at the time of her passing. A fundraiser organized by her niece, Colette Tracy, is underway to assist with funeral expenses. Friends, family, and even those who did not know Dolores are being asked to help celebrate her life by contributing. No donation is too small, and every contribution is deeply appreciated.
