Denis Billette, Hawkesbury, ON — The community is mourning the loss of Denis Billette, who passed away on July 12th, 2024. Denis was a cherished father and friend, known for his vibrant personality and kind heart.

Cassidy shared her sorrow and the challenges her family is facing, explaining that they were only notified of Denis’ passing ten days after his death due to outdated contact information at the hospice. She expressed her need for support, especially after just having a baby shortly after Denis’ passing. The funds raised will go towards cremation, burial, and other expenses to lay Denis to rest.
The community has shown an outpouring of support on Facebook. Jacqueline Perreault, Shirley Tousignant, and Guylaine Knupp are among many who have shared their condolences and support.
A gathering for Denis’ family and friends is being planned, with the date to be announced once arrangements are finalized. Denis’ memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved him, and his legacy of kindness and humor will live on.
